CAMPFINDERS.COM is operated by Camp Finders, Inc., a Florida Corporation (hereafter referred to as the "Company"). The Company also operates a second web site, MYSUMMERS.COM, which is designed to assist individuals in identifying summer camps or programs that may have employment opportunities for the summer. The Company operates this web site as a means of introducing us to the families of potential campers and to facilitate the placement of children in particular summer camps or other forms of summer programs. These efforts are undertaken in a manner consistent with the Terms and Conditions of Use which outlines the rights and responsibilities of the Company, the user/employee candidate, and prospective employers. The Company encourages you as the user to read and understand the Terms and Conditions of Use. The privacy interests of the Company are clear. We will use or best efforts to ensure that you have the opportunity to use the site in a safe and secure manner and the information supplied by you is used only for the purposes for which this site exists.

This page sets forth our policy regarding the information being supplied by you as a user to the Company. As stated in the Terms and Conditions for Use, the Company acts merely to assist parents and children in the selection of suitable summer camps and summer programs. As such, Camp Finders acts as a catalyst only for the selection of camps or programs. Camp Finders will arrange for camps and campers and their families to communicate with each other directly but Camp Finders is not the camp or program and is not involved in the operation of the camps or programs. Camp Finders also is not involved in or responsible for the content of information exchanged between the camps or programs and the campers or families. For Camp Finders to operate, visits are made on a periodic basis to potential summer camps and the owners and operators of the camps and other programs are interviewed to gain an understanding of the program being offered and related information. The owners and operators of the camps and programs provide information to Camp Finders on their programs and opportunities. Camp Finders learns of the general or specific interest of the family or child through any numbers of means including this web site, word of mouth, advertising and similar methods. The initial communication by the camper or family may be by e-mail or telephone call.

Disclosure of Information

With two exceptions, the Company does not disclose the information you provide to anyone without your prior consent. First, the information you provide via this web site or through telephone contact with Camp Finders is supplied to camps or programs that may offer the type of summer program that you seek. As described below, you elect what information to provide as a part of the process and that information may be supplied once that process has been completed. We have no other information about you and do not seek to collect such information. Second, when necessary or appropriate, the Company will provide the information to assure compliance by the Company with all applicable laws, in legal proceedings where such information is relevant, or where we determine such disclosure to be necessary to protect the rights of others or to prevent harm..

The Registration Process

When you examine the web site, you will see that you as a family, camper, or participant in a program have the opportunity to contact us. All of the information sought except for your name and e-mail address, is optional. Obviously, you can influence the selection process by disclosing or failing to disclose information deemed necessary by the potential camp or program. The choice, however, of what information to supply is your and yours alone.

Once you have reviewed the web site and spoken with us, the information supplied to us will be supplied to those camps and/or programs that you or we believe offer the program you seek. The owners and operators of those camps then will contact by telephone or e-mail those individuals in whom they have an interest.

As currently structured, the web site and Camp Finders assumes no obligation to screen communications or information supplied by users in advance and is not responsible for screening or monitoring information exchanged by the camp and campers or their families. Additionally, the web site is not searchable.

Communications by Children

This web site specifically does not collect information on children. To the extent that a child seeks employment with a camp, you will note that this site is limited to employee candidates who are at least 18 years of age.

This page sets forth the Company's current statement regarding the privacy of users of the site. We may change this policy from time to time and will post those changes here so you can determine the policy that applies at any given point in time.
